CD09: youreyesinmine - "youreyesinmine"

"wherever you are, whoever we decide to be and the world is beautiful because you are in it...and maybe because i am too. i love you."

We received an email last September about this band, and after half of the first track, we both told each other we were going to release their tape.

youreyesinmine is a side project of prolific songwriter Damián Ojeda (who you may know from projects such as Life, and Sadness). Teamed up with their friend Nate (also a member of Life), the duo created an EP that recalls days past, long goodbyes, and cathartic releases. I feel like the lyrics to “final glimpse” says everything you need to know about this power duo: “visions of you by the window… this is the final glimpse, deep down, I already know.” The genuine ethos of this EP speaks for itself.

This cassette is in an edition of 56 hand-stamped baby blue cassettes with four panel jcards.
- 12 of the copies will have hand-stamped sewn special edition slip covers.
- copies are split 50/50 between C86'd & youreyesinmine.
- the first six mailorders will get the special edition from us.

Released physically on cassette on March 2nd, 2026.
Cassettes will start shipping the week of March 9th, 2026.
